Manufacturing capability
Located in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, our two integrated plants are organised on lean-manufacturing lines that shorten lead times and optimise costs. The site brings critical processes—copper drawing, PVC compounding, more than 50 extrusion lines and a robotic keystone-jack assembly line—onto one floorplate, reducing handling loss and enhancing traceability .
Quality is embedded at every stage: dedicated physical, electrical and optical laboratories use calibrated Fluke analysers, OTDRs, environmental chambers and other advanced rigs to verify conformance with BIS, UL, ETL and CPR requirements before any batch is released . Regular customer audits and third-party tests further reinforce compliance with global specifications .
Innovation, R&D , QA
Orient Cables anchors innovation in an integrated R&D-and-QA ecosystem that spans concept design, pilot manufacture and full-scale production. Cross-functional engineers translate customer specifications into prototypes that are validated in calibrated laboratories fitted with Fluke cable analysers, OTDRs, environmental chambers and more than thirty other specialised rigs, ensuring every sample meets its cost, performance and safety targets. A 66-strong QA team (as of March 31, 2025) performs real-time, in-process checks with non-contact CENTERVIEW 8000 gauges, while regular customer and third-party audits reinforce our ISO-driven quality, environmental and safety systems. These controls underpin a product portfolio that carries global approvals—including UL, ETL, CPR, CE and BIS 14493—enabling us to replace imports with reliable, indigenous solutions that satisfy the world’s most demanding standards.
