To translate cable designs (BOM/construction) provided by the Design team into accurate cost sheets and quotations,
ensuring competitive and profitable pricing while tracking raw material and process cost fluctuations.
To lead the Process Design & Costing function for the wire and cable manufacturing business, covering LAN cable, power cable, house wire cable, instrumentation cable and cable assemblies. The HOD is responsible for establishing
robust process design standards, accurate and competitive product costing, and continuous cost optimization, while
ensuring alignment with production capability, quality standards and business profitability targets.
Lead and manage Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities for cable manufacturing.
Ensure compliance with BIS, ISI, IEC, and customer quality standards.
Monitor incoming raw materials, in-process inspections, and final product testing.
